According to a Goo Ranking survey of 2.7 thousand netizens from Japan in January and March 2021, we have a relatively accurate ranking of `best endings` in shonen anime/manga
1. Inuyasha
Accounting for nearly 20% of survey participants, with 472 votes, Rumiko Takahashi’s Inuyasha is considered the shonen series with the best ending.
Inuyasha was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1996 – 2008. The manga revolves around the story of Kagome Higurashi, a 15-year-old girl who travels to the past after falling into a well, taking readers on a love-filled adventure.

Having a total of 355 votes and ranked 3rd is Touch by Mitsuru Adachi, published from 1981 to 1986 in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.
The manga follows the journey of twin brothers Kazuya and Tatsuya Uesugi as they aim to win the biggest high school baseball championship of the year, the Koshien.
The ending of Touch has the team of brothers Kazuya and Tatsuya winning the Koshien tournament, and Tatsuya confessing his feelings to his crush Minami.
